RealGreen pricing and RealGreen software pricing for lawn care companies

RealGreen software pricing packages and what each one includes

These are the packages on RealGreen's own pricing page (realgreen.com/pricing), checked in October 2026. The page lists no dollar amounts and says pricing is "both usage and user-based".

PackageWho RealGreen aims it atWhat it adds
Small BusinessLawn businesses with 3 crews or moreFull CRM, online measuring, scheduling and work orders, dynamic routing, mobile app, customer notifications and portal, email and digital marketing, integrated payments, sales chatbot
ProfessionalBusinesses focused on growing fasterEverything in Small Business plus pay over time and capital solutions, advanced reporting and API integration
EnterpriseOperators that want unlimited licensesUnlimited licenses, advanced API and analytics integrations, professional services

The same page lists further modules without saying which package includes them: estimates and digital forms, direct mail and print, website builder, online reviews, live truck tracking, turn-by-turn navigation, auto-billing, property inventory tracking and custom reporting. Ask the rep which of these are in your quote and which cost extra.

RealGreen cost beyond the starting price

Because the price is built per account, four things decide what a lawn care company actually pays.

  • Users. Pricing is partly user-based, so every office login and technician on the mobile app can move the number. Enterprise is the only package that states unlimited licenses.
  • Usage. The usage-based part tracks how much you run through the system. Ask exactly which activity is metered, for example measurements, payments or messages, and what happens in your peak months.
  • Modules. Marketing, direct mail, website, reviews and truck tracking are listed as separate modules. A quote that looks close to the directory price usually leaves most of them out.
  • Contract and onboarding. Get the term length, renewal terms and any implementation or training fee in writing before you sign. Some reviewers on directory sites report costs they did not expect after committing to a one-year agreement.

Questions to ask before you sign a RealGreen quote

Take this list into the sales call so two quotes can be compared on the same basis.

QuestionWhy it matters
Which package is this, and which listed modules are not included?Modules outside the package are where the price grows
How many users does the quote cover, and what does each extra user cost?Pricing is partly user-based
What usage is metered, and at what rate?A busy spring can cost more than a quiet winter
Is there an implementation, data migration or training fee?One-time fees change the first-year cost
What is the contract term, and how does renewal work? You want to know the exit before you start
Is Measurement Assistant included, and is it limited?Measuring volume drives cost for fast-growing route companies

If the rep cannot answer a line, write it down as unknown and ask for it in the written quote.

Is RealGreen worth it for a lawn care company?

RealGreen is worth it for a fertilization and weed control business with thousands of recurring accounts. Route density, program billing, a customer portal, prepay and marketing in one system pay for themselves when the work is five or six treatment rounds a year on the same lawns.

It is a harder sell for a landscape company whose revenue is mostly mowing contracts, bed work, sod and installs. Those jobs are priced from beds, edging, mulch depth and labor, not from the square feet of turf, and that is where a program-pricing tool stops helping. If the sales chatbot is the module you were most interested in, a standalone website chatbot that answers visitor questions can cover that on its own.

Our RealGreen alternative page compares the two tools line by line, including where RealGreen does more.

Where RealGreen stops and a landscape estimator starts

Measurement Assistant measures lawn and building areas from aerial imagery and county parcel data and turns them into a program quote. That is fast for a five-round fertilization program. A landscape enhancement on the same property needs more than turf area:

  • 1,150 square feet of beds become 10.6 cubic yards of mulch at 3 inches, plus 10% waste and delivery
  • 260 linear feet of edging become material per foot plus install hours from your production rate
  • A 60 foot retaining wall becomes block, cap, drainage aggregate and labor hours per foot

In LandscapeEstimating you trace each of those as its own layer on satellite imagery, and every layer prices from your cost library with your labor rate, overhead and margin. The client gets a branded proposal and signs online. The retaining wall estimating software page shows a full wall priced line by line, and lawn care contract software covers season contracts priced per visit.

How much does RealGreen cost per month?

RealGreen does not publish a monthly price. Its pricing page lists Small Business, Professional and Enterprise packages priced on users and usage, and each company gets a custom quote. Software directories list a starting price of about $199 a month, which typically covers a smaller setup before extra modules and users.

Does RealGreen have a free trial?

No free trial is listed. RealGreen asks buyers to contact sales for a custom quote and demo, and software directories also list no free trial. LandscapeEstimating's estimator demo on the home page is open to anyone, so you can trace and price a property before you pay.

What is the difference between RealGreen Small Business and Professional?

Professional includes everything in Small Business and adds pay over time and capital solutions, advanced reporting and API integration. Small Business already covers CRM, online measuring, scheduling, routing, the mobile app, customer portal, marketing and payments. Enterprise adds unlimited licenses and advanced integrations.

Is RealGreen priced per user?

Partly. RealGreen says its pricing is both usage and user-based, so the number of office users and technicians affects the quote, along with how much you run through the system. Only the Enterprise package states unlimited licenses.

Is RealGreen the same as WorkWave?

RealGreen is now sold as RealGreen by WorkWave. WorkWave owns several field service products, and RealGreen is the one built for lawn care and tree and shrub companies, formerly known as Real Green Systems and Service Assistant.

What is a cheaper alternative to RealGreen for landscape estimating?

LandscapeEstimating starts at $129 a month, or $64 a month billed yearly, with satellite measuring, a cost library, margin on every line and e-signed proposals, priced per company. It replaces the estimating side; routing and treatment programs stay in your current tool.
