Each company's cost library, estimates, proposals and job costing records are kept separate and are never shared with other companies. We do not pool your rates into benchmarks, and we do not show your prices to anyone outside your account. Clients who receive a proposal see the scope, options and prices you send them, never your costs, man-hours or margin.

Encryption
How traffic and account data are protected.
Encryption in transit and regular encrypted backups
All traffic between your browser and Landscapeestimating, and between your clients and the proposals they open, is encrypted in transit over HTTPS. Account data is protected by regular encrypted backups, so an accidental change or a system failure does not cost you your library or your estimate history.

Access
Seats, approvals and sign in options by plan.
Access control, roles and SSO
Every estimator signs in with their own seat, so each estimate and proposal shows who created it. On Operations, manager approval above a set amount and margin guardrails add a second pair of eyes to large bids. On Enterprise, role-based permissions control who can edit the cost library, approve estimates or see margin reports, and single sign-on through SAML connects Landscapeestimating to your identity provider, so access ends when an employee leaves your directory.

Audit log
A record of who changed what and when.
Audit log on Enterprise
On Enterprise, the audit log records significant actions in your account, such as changes to the cost library, approvals and exports, with who made them and when. That answers the question every operations manager eventually asks: who changed the mulch price, and which estimates used it.

Landscaping software security inside your own team
Most exposure of pricing data happens inside a company, not outside it: a spreadsheet emailed to a new hire, a rate sheet left on a shared drive, a departing estimator who keeps a copy. With the cost library held in one account, estimators price from the library without needing a separate file of rates, and on Enterprise role-based permissions decide who can view or edit costs and margin at all. When someone leaves, you remove the seat and their access ends.

How you take your data out at any time.
Export any time, no lock-in
You can export your estimates any time. CSV export is included on every plan, QuickBooks Online export of accepted jobs and invoices is included on Company and above, and API access and webhooks come with Operations. Plans are billed per company and you can cancel anytime; your data does not become hard to reach because you changed your mind. Security review support for larger companies
Enterprise includes security review support: we answer your security questionnaire and sign a data processing agreement. Enterprise also brings an uptime SLA, dedicated onboarding, annual invoicing and purchase orders. - Can other landscaping companies see my prices?
No. Cost data is kept per company and is never shared with other companies, including in any aggregated form.
- Do you offer SSO?
Yes. SSO through SAML, together with role-based permissions and an audit log, is part of Enterprise. Contact [email protected] or use Talk to sales.
- Can I get my data out if I leave?
Yes. Export your estimates any time to CSV, and on Company and above export accepted jobs and invoices to QuickBooks Online.
