Satellite measurement
How accurate is satellite measurement?
Measurements come from aerial imagery, and for lawns, beds and edging they are accurate enough to price the job. Imagery date and tree cover can hide part of a property, so look at the imagery before you trace and note anything you cannot see. For hardscape and anything built to the inch, verify critical dimensions on site before you order material.
What can I measure?
Areas in square feet (turf, mulch beds, sod, pavers, gravel), lengths in linear feet (edging, walls, fence lines) and counts (trees, shrubs, heads). Each layer keeps its own measurement and feeds its own line items. See the lawn measurement tool.
Does it work for large commercial properties?
Yes. HOA common areas, office parks and municipal sites are traced the same way as a front yard, and a measured property can be reopened and rebid next season. Read more about landscape bidding software.
Where does the imagery come from?

Pricing and the cost library
Can I use my own prices and production rates?
Yes. The cost library is yours: materials, labor rates, production rates, equipment, disposal, overhead and target margin. Every estimate is priced from your numbers, not from ours. See the cost library.
Does it handle maintenance contracts and per-visit pricing?
Yes. Set the number of visits per season for mowing, edging, fertilization and cleanups, and the estimate prices each visit and the whole season.
What are assemblies?
An assembly is a template that turns one measurement into several line items. For example, a mulch bed refresh multiplies the bed area by the mulch depth, adds labor from your production rate, delivery and a waste factor, all in one step. Assemblies are on the Company plan and above.
Can two estimators get different prices for the same job?
Not when they use the same cost library. That is the point: the same measurements and the same rates give the same price, whoever builds the estimate.
Proposals and e-sign
Do clients need an account to sign?
No. Your client opens a link, reviews the proposal, picks an option and signs online. You see when it is sent, viewed and signed.
Can I offer good, better and best options?
Yes, on the Company plan and above, together with optional add-ons the client can tick before signing. Read about landscaping proposal software.
Can I collect a deposit?
Yes. On the Company plan and above, a signed proposal can include a deposit request link.
Can the proposal carry my branding?
Yes. Every proposal carries your logo and colors, the traced map of the property, the scope of work and your terms. Operations adds custom proposal templates.
Job costing and exports
How does job costing work?
When a client signs, the estimate becomes the job budget. Crews log hours and materials against it, and you see estimate against actual on every line, with margin per job and per estimator. See landscape job costing software.
Does it work with QuickBooks Online?
Yes. Accepted jobs and invoices export to QuickBooks Online on the Company plan and above. Every plan also exports to CSV.
Is there an API?
Yes. API access and webhooks are part of the Operations plan and Enterprise.
Account, data and billing
Is my pricing data private?
Yes. Your cost library and estimates belong to your company and are never shared with other companies. You can export them any time. Read more on landscaping software security.
Is the price per user or per company?
Per company. Each plan includes a set number of estimator seats. See pricing.
Can I cancel or switch to yearly?
You can cancel any time and keep access until the end of the paid period. Yearly billing saves two months compared with paying monthly.
Can I try it before paying?
Yes. The estimator on the home page is open to everyone: trace a property, change the rates and see the price. Paid plans start at $129 per month.
Do you offer SSO?
Yes. SSO (SAML), role-based permissions and an audit log are part of Enterprise. Write to [email protected].
