One flow

How measuring, pricing, proposals and costing connect.

One landscape estimating app instead of four disconnected tools

Many landscaping companies measure with one tool, price in a spreadsheet, build proposals in a word processor and check job costs in accounting software, if at all. Every hand-off is a place where a number gets retyped or rounded. Here the measurement, the cost library, the proposal and the job budget share the same data, and the landscaping estimate example shows that flow on a real residential job with every line of math.

  • Measure: trace on satellite imagery, quantities calculate live
  • Price: assemblies, production rates, waste factors, overhead and margin
  • Propose: branded proposal, good, better and best options, e-sign
  • Track: estimate vs actual per line, margin per job and per estimator
03

Measurement

Tracing a property into areas, lengths and counts.

Satellite measurement: the lawn measurement tool inside every estimate

Search an address and trace turf, mulch beds, hardscape, edging, trees and shrubs on aerial imagery. Square feet, linear feet and counts update as you draw, and each layer is tied to a service, so measurements flow straight into line items. Crew includes 60 satellite measurements per month, Company 250 and Operations 800. Read more about the lawn measurement tool.

  • Layers per service with live area, length and count
  • Large commercial properties traced in sections and rebid each year
  • Aerial imagery has limits under tree cover; verify critical hardscape dimensions on site
04

Cost library

Where your materials, rates and margin are stored.

Cost library: a lawn care pricing calculator built on your own numbers

Store materials (mulch per cubic yard, sod per square foot, pavers, stone, plants), labor rates, production rates in square feet per man-hour, equipment, disposal, overhead recovery and target margin. Assemblies bundle several items, for example a mulch bed refresh that combines depth times area, labor and delivery. Maintenance services price per visit with visit counts per season. See the lawn care pricing calculator.

  • Per company, and per branch on Operations
  • Waste factors and assemblies on Company and above
  • Margin guardrails and manager approval above a set amount on Operations

Proposals

What the client receives, chooses and signs online.

Proposals and e-sign: landscaping proposal software clients can act on

Every estimate becomes a branded proposal with your logo, colors, the traced map, a scope of work and terms. On Company and above you add good, better and best options, optional add-ons and a deposit request link on signed proposals. Status moves from sent to viewed to signed. Proposals are unlimited on every paid plan. Details on landscaping proposal software.

06

Job costing

How signed work is tracked, reported and exported.

Job costing and exports: landscaping invoice software connected to the estimate

A signed proposal becomes the job budget. Crews log hours and materials, and each line compares estimate to actual, with margin per job and per estimator. Accepted jobs and invoices export to QuickBooks Online on Company and above, and every plan exports to CSV. Calendar export puts scheduled work where your team already looks. See landscaping invoice software.

  • Estimate vs actual per line and per job
  • Margin reports per estimator, service line and branch on Operations
  • API access and webhooks on Operations
07

Scope writer

Turning quick field notes into a clean scope.

AI scope writer: from field notes to a clean scope of work

Type the notes you would jot in the truck, such as "refresh beds front and side, edge, 3 in. mulch, trim 6 shrubs", and the AI scope writer returns a clear scope of work mapped to items in your cost library. You review and edit it before it goes on the proposal. Company includes 200 runs per month and Operations 1,000.
