Service Autopilot pricing plans and what each one costs
These are the plans on Service Autopilot's own pricing page. Prices are monthly figures on an annual subscription, and each one is listed "plus sign-up fee" without a number, so get the fee in writing before you sign.
| Plan | Price per month | Business users | Mobile licenses | What the plan adds |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Startup | $49 plus sign-up fee | 1 | 1 | Scheduling, dispatching, invoicing, integrated payments, expense tracking, customer and lead management |
| Pro | $199 plus sign-up fee | 1 | 2 | Multi-day jobs, route optimization, dispatch calendar, job costing and analysis, asset, expense and employee tracking, custom reports |
| Pro Plus | $499 plus sign-up fee | 1 | 5 | Automations and automation workflows, marketplace access, exclusive training and learning content |
| Elite | Contact for pricing | 2 | 8 | Two-way texting, Accelerate, email integration, Smart Maps, client portal, QuickBooks integration, onboarding specialists, multi-location management |
All plans include customer support and the Service Autopilot mobile app. Two-way texting, email integration, QuickBooks Online sync, Smart Maps, the client portal and Accelerate are also sold as add-ons to plans below Elite.
Which Service Autopilot plan a landscape company needs
Service Autopilot's plans split on mobile licenses and automation, not on estimating. The step that catches most landscape companies is the mobile license count, because every crew lead running the app needs one.
- Owner-operator, one truck. Startup at $49 a month covers scheduling, invoicing and payments for one person in the field. There's no job costing and no route optimization.
- Two crews, maintenance plus some installs. Pro at $199, because route optimization and job costing start there and two mobile licenses cover two crew leads.
- Three to five crews, recurring routes. Pro Plus at $499 for five mobile licenses and the automations Service Autopilot is known for, such as follow-ups and renewals that run on their own.
- Six crews or more, or a second location. Elite, quoted by sales, with eight mobile licenses, a second business user and multi-location management.
The jump from Pro to Pro Plus is $300 a month, or $3,600 a year, and on a three-crew company the extra mobile licenses are often what forces it. That is the decision to model before the demo.
What Service Autopilot costs beyond the plan price
The monthly figure is where the first-year bill starts. These are the lines to get itemized on the quote.
| Cost item | How Service Autopilot charges | What to ask |
|---|---|---|
| Sign-up fee | One-time, on every plan, amount not shown on the pricing page | The exact fee for your plan and what onboarding it covers |
| Annual subscription | Prices are on an annual subscription basis | Whether you can pay monthly, and what leaving early costs |
| QuickBooks Online sync | Add-on below Elite, included on Elite | The add-on price, and whether QuickBooks Desktop is supported |
| Two-way texting | Add-on below Elite | Price per message bundle and per extra message |
| Client portal, Smart Maps | Add-ons below Elite | Monthly price of each |
| Payments | Integrated payments on every plan | Card and ACH rates per transaction |
| Satellite measuring | Through a Deep Lawn partnership, not a built-in tool | Whether measuring is a separate subscription and how it bills |
Payments deserve a line of their own. Card fees on a $400,000 maintenance book add up to more than the software, and when deposits arrive in batches it helps to have bank reconciliation software that matches the deposits to the statement instead of ticking them off by hand.
Where Service Autopilot pricing leaves the install estimate
Service Autopilot was built around recurring work: routes, visits, automations and billing on a schedule. For mowing contracts priced per visit, that fits. Installs and enhancements are different. A mulch job, a sod lawn or a paver patio is priced from measured quantities: square feet of bed, cubic yards of mulch, linear feet of edging, man-hours from a production rate.
None of the four plans lists a built-in satellite measuring tool. Measurement comes through a partner, and the estimate itself is a list of line items someone types in. A good invoice after a guessed area is still a guessed price.
LandscapeEstimating handles that part. You trace turf, beds, sod, hardscape and edging on satellite imagery of any US address, each layer prices from your own cost library with waste, production rate, overhead and margin, and the client signs the proposal online. Company at $299 a month adds job costing and a QuickBooks Online export of signed jobs, so the invoice in the books is the number the client signed. If you have already decided to move off Service Autopilot, our Service Autopilot alternative guide compares the options.
Example of what Service Autopilot costs a landscape company in a year
A maintenance company runs three crews from March to November and sells spring cleanups, mulch and a few small installs. It has an owner, an office manager and three crew leads who each need the mobile app, and it wants route optimization and job costing.
| Line | Monthly | First year |
|---|---|---|
| Pro Plus (5 mobile licenses, 1 business user) | $499 | $5,988 |
| Sign-up fee | quoted by Service Autopilot | |
| QuickBooks Online sync add-on | quoted by Service Autopilot | |
| Second business user for the office manager | Elite or quoted | |
| Service Autopilot total before fees and add-ons | $5,988 | |
| LandscapeEstimating Company, billed yearly | $149 | $1,788 |
On Pro at $199 the company would save $3,600 a year but would have two mobile licenses for three crew leads. That's the reason companies of this size end up on Pro Plus. The estimating side is cheaper to get right than to get wrong: a 2,800 sq ft mulch bed priced from a paced-off guess of 2,200 sq ft is short about 5.6 cubic yards at 3 inches, plus the labor to spread it, on every job measured that way.
Is Service Autopilot worth the cost for landscapers
Service Autopilot is worth the cost for maintenance-heavy companies that live on recurring routes and want automations to handle reminders, renewals and billing. Companies with three or more crews and an office manager tend to get the most from Pro Plus, because the automations replace office hours they would otherwise pay for.
It's harder to justify for a two-crew company whose real problem is pricing installs and enhancements. At $199 a month plus a sign-up fee on an annual subscription, Pro still leaves measuring and line-item pricing to you. Those companies often compare it with Jobber (see what Jobber costs a landscape company) or with LMN (see our LMN pricing guide), and some keep their routing tool and price installs in a separate estimator.
How much does Service Autopilot cost per month?
Service Autopilot costs $49 a month on Startup, $199 on Pro and $499 on Pro Plus, each plus a one-time sign-up fee, and Elite is priced by sales. The monthly prices are on an annual subscription. Add-ons such as two-way texting, QuickBooks Online sync and the client portal cost extra below Elite.
Does Service Autopilot have a sign-up fee?
Yes. Every plan on Service Autopilot's pricing page is listed "plus sign-up fee", and the page doesn't publish the amount. Ask for the exact fee for your plan in writing, along with what onboarding and training it includes, before you sign the annual subscription.
Can you pay Service Autopilot monthly?
The pricing page shows monthly prices on an annual subscription basis, so you commit to a year and the cost is expressed per month. Ask the sales team whether a month-to-month option exists for your plan and what cancelling before the end of the term would cost.
Does Service Autopilot integrate with QuickBooks?
Yes. QuickBooks integration is included on Elite and sold as a QuickBooks Online sync add-on on the other plans. If your books are in QuickBooks Desktop, confirm support with Service Autopilot before signing, since the pricing page names QuickBooks Online for the add-on.
Does Service Autopilot measure properties from satellite?
Service Autopilot doesn't list a built-in satellite measuring tool on any plan; it offers measuring through a partnership with Deep Lawn. LandscapeEstimating measures turf, beds, sod and hardscape on satellite imagery of any US address and prices each layer from your own rates in the same step.
