LMN pricing plans and what each one costs
These are the starting prices on Granum's LMN pricing page. Both published prices are monthly and come after a one-time onboarding fee that the page doesn't put a number on, so ask for it in writing before the demo ends.
| Plan | Price per month | Licenses included | Who LMN says it is for | What the plan adds |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | From $297 | 1 office or crew lead, 5 crew members | Companies with fewer than 10 employees | Estimating with overhead recovery, price lists, material and labor calculators, proposals, invoicing, CRM, crew app, route optimization, QuickBooks Online |
| Professional | From $648 | 3 office or crew lead, 15 crew members | Companies with 10 or more employees | Real-time job costing, equipment and material costing, material tracking, vendor bills, subcontractor tracking, advanced dashboards, Zapier, QuickBooks Desktop and Online |
| Enterprise | Contact sales | Starts at 100 users | Multi-location companies | Multi-location management and the Enterprise Launch package |
Extra licenses are available on every plan for a fee that isn't published. Starter is limited to one active budget, which matters if you want to model a second year or a new division before committing to it.
Which LMN plan does a landscape company need
LMN's plans split on company size and on job costing, not on estimating. Every plan gets the estimating engine LMN is known for.
- Owner plus one or two crews, under 10 people. Starter at $297 covers estimating from your budget, proposals, invoicing and the crew app. Five crew member licenses is enough for two small crews. The single active budget is the limit you'll notice first.
- Ten to forty people, installs and enhancements. Professional at $648, because real-time job costing, material tracking and vendor bills start there. If you want to know whether last month's patio made money, this is the plan.
- Several branches or more than 100 users. Enterprise, quoted by sales, with multi-location management and launch support.
The step from Starter to Professional is $351 a month, or $4,212 a year, and job costing is the main reason to pay it. That is the decision most landscape companies get stuck on.
What LMN costs beyond the plan price
The monthly number is the starting point. The first-year invoice has more lines.
| Cost item | How LMN charges | What to ask Granum |
|---|---|---|
| Onboarding | One-time fee on every plan, amount not listed on the pricing page | The exact fee for your plan and what training it covers |
| Extra licenses | Available for a fee on every plan | Price per office license and per crew member license |
| Payments | LMN Pay and payment processing on every plan | Card and ACH rates per transaction |
| QuickBooks Desktop | Professional and Enterprise only; Starter syncs with QuickBooks Online | Whether your accounting setup forces you up a tier |
| Measuring | No satellite property measuring listed on the pricing page; LMN has partnered with Attentive.ai (now Beam AI) for aerial takeoffs | Whether takeoffs are a separate subscription and how they are billed |
Licenses are where Starter gets more expensive than it looks. A company with eight crew members needs three more crew licenses than Starter includes, and seasonal hires in May push that number up again. When job costing is on the list, you're also tracking material receipts against each job; if crew leads buy mulch and stone on a company card, scanning the crew receipts into a spreadsheet gets those costs into the books without retyping them.
Where LMN pricing leaves the measured estimate
LMN's estimating starts from your budget. You set overhead, labor burden and target profit, and LMN turns that into the rates every estimate uses. That's the strongest part of the product, and it's why companies pay for it.
What the pricing page doesn't list is the measurement that feeds the estimate. The square feet of turf, the bed area that becomes cubic yards of mulch, the linear feet of edging: someone still has to get those numbers, from a drive-out with a wheel, a pass on Google Maps or a takeoff vendor. A good rate times a guessed area is still a guessed price.
LandscapeEstimating does the measuring and pricing in one step. You trace turf, beds, sod, hardscape and edging on satellite imagery, each layer prices from your own cost library with waste, production rate and margin, and the client signs the proposal online. Job costing (estimate against actual per line) comes on the Company plan at $299 a month. If you've decided LMN isn't the right fit at all, our LMN alternative comparison covers who each tool suits.
Example of what LMN costs a landscape company in its first year
A residential design-build company has 14 people: owner, office manager, an estimator, two crew leads and nine crew members. It does maintenance from March to November and installs from April to October. It wants job costing, so Starter is out. Professional's fifteen crew member licenses cover the crews, but five people need office or crew lead access and the plan includes three.
| Line | Monthly | First year |
|---|---|---|
| LMN Professional | $648 | $7,776 |
| One-time onboarding | quoted by Granum | |
| Two extra office or crew lead licenses | quoted by Granum | |
| LMN total before onboarding, extra licenses and payment fees | $7,776 | |
| LandscapeEstimating Company, billed yearly | $149 | $1,788 |
The same company on Starter would pay $3,564 a year but would need four more office or crew lead licenses and four more crew member licenses than Starter includes, and it would give up job costing. That's why companies of this size end up on Professional, and why some keep a lighter operations tool and pay for estimating and job costing separately. A 600 sq ft paver patio quoted 15% light because the area was measured by eye loses about $1,800 at $20 a square foot, which is a full year of the estimator on its own.
Is LMN worth the cost for landscapers
LMN is worth the cost for companies that want to run the whole business from a budget: estimating, scheduling, crew time, invoicing and job costing in one system, with pricing tied to overhead recovery. Companies in the roughly $1M to $20M revenue range with an office manager and a few crews get the most from it, and Granum's training is part of the value.
It's harder to justify for an owner-operator or a two-crew company whose real problem is the bid. At $297 a month plus onboarding, Starter costs more than twice an estimator plan and still leaves the measuring to you. Those companies often keep their scheduler, such as Jobber (see what Jobber costs a landscape company), and add an estimator. Bigger commercial firms usually compare LMN with Aspire, and our Aspire pricing guide lays out how that quote works.
How much does LMN cost per month?
LMN costs from $297 a month on Starter and from $648 a month on Professional, both after a one-time onboarding fee. Enterprise is priced by Granum's sales team and starts at 100 users. Extra office, crew lead and crew member licenses are available on every plan for an additional fee.
Does LMN charge per user?
Partly. Each plan includes a set number of licenses: Starter has one office or crew lead license and five crew member licenses, and Professional has three and fifteen. Additional licenses cost extra on every plan, so a company with more office staff or a big seasonal crew pays more than the starting price.
Is there a free version of LMN?
LMN's pricing page lists three paid plans, Starter, Professional and Enterprise, and no free plan. Granum offers demos, and every plan starts with a one-time onboarding fee. Ask in the demo whether a trial period or a reduced first month is available for your company size.
Which LMN plan has job costing?
Real-time job costing starts on the Professional plan at $648 a month and is included on Enterprise. Starter doesn't include it. Professional also adds equipment and material costing, vendor bill management, subcontractor tracking, advanced dashboards and QuickBooks Desktop support.
Does LMN measure properties from satellite?
LMN's pricing page doesn't list a satellite measuring tool on any plan. LMN has partnered with Attentive.ai, now Beam AI, for aerial takeoffs, which is a separate service. LandscapeEstimating measures turf, beds, sod and hardscape on satellite imagery and prices each layer from your rates in the same step.
