GorillaDesk pricing plans and what each one costs
These are the plans GorillaDesk lists on its own pricing page and help center, billed monthly with no contract. The price is for the first schedule; every additional schedule costs $50 a month on any plan.
| Plan | First schedule | Each extra schedule | Paid yearly (first schedule) | What the plan adds |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Basic | $49 | $50 | $539 | Scheduling, estimates, invoicing, payments, basic routing (25 stops), automated messages, 20 reports |
| Pro | $99 | $50 | $1,089 | E-signatures, customer portal, online booking, subscription billing, route optimization, GPS tracking, QuickBooks Online sync, Zapier, API |
| Growth | $149 | $50 | $1,639 | Map estimation tool, dynamic estimates, estimate packages, sales pipelines, custom fields, multi-branch |
GorillaDesk says there are no setup fees, no contracts and free data migration, and you can change plans at any time. Prices were checked on GorillaDesk's pricing page and help center; confirm them before you buy, since software plans change.
How GorillaDesk counts a schedule
GorillaDesk bills per schedule, which its help center defines as each technician who has a route. If technicians work as a crew, only the crew leader needs a schedule. Admins, managers and sales staff don't count, and the mobile app is included.
For a pest control operator with solo technicians, that means one schedule per truck. For a lawn care company it usually means one schedule per mowing crew, which keeps the bill lower than per-user pricing once crews have two or three people. The catch is growth: every new crew adds $50 a month, so the bill scales with routes, not with the size of the office.
GorillaDesk costs beyond the plan price
The plan price is most of the bill, but three items show up on top of it for lawn care companies.
- Text messaging: a local phone line is $5 a month, then message bundles are bought separately ($50 for 1,000, $100 for 2,500, $200 for 8,000 per GorillaDesk's help center); incoming texts are free
- Phone system: the built-in VoIP phone is $65 a month per user
- Card and ACH payments: processing runs through the payment provider you connect (Stripe or Square), at that provider's rates
Nothing here is unusual for field service software. It does mean a 3-crew company that texts every client the day before a visit should budget for SMS bundles from the start.
What a lawn care company pays for GorillaDesk in a year
Take a lawn care company with three mowing crews and an office manager who sells and schedules. It wants e-signed agreements and QuickBooks sync, and it measures new lawns on a map.
| Setup | Monthly | Year, paid monthly | Year, paid yearly |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pro, 3 schedules | $199 | $2,388 | about $2,189 |
| Growth, 3 schedules | $249 | $2,988 | about $2,739 |
| Growth, 3 schedules, plus phone line and a 2,500-text bundle each month | about $354 | about $4,248 | about $3,999 |
The yearly column applies the one free month to the plan, which is how GorillaDesk describes yearly payment, while the phone line and texts are still paid every month; the texting line assumes one $100 bundle a month. The office manager is free on every plan. If you want to check how software spend sits in your full year, it helps to turn the bookkeeping export into a profit and loss statement and look at it next to labor and fuel.
Where GorillaDesk stops for landscape estimating
GorillaDesk was built for pest control and then lawn care and pool service, and it does those route businesses well. The map estimation tool on Growth lets you outline a lawn and get an area. What we could not find in its documentation is a landscape cost library: production rates per service, waste factors on mulch and sod, labor rate, overhead and margin applied line by line.
That gap matters in two places. Maintenance contracts priced from a typed rate per square foot drift away from what the crews actually take, and install or enhancement bids (beds, sod, pavers, edging) need material quantities and labor hours, not just an area. A lawn care company that adds a landscape division usually feels this first.
Our lawn care contract software page shows how a season contract is priced per visit from a satellite trace, and the landscape measuring software page covers install takeoffs.
Is GorillaDesk worth it for a lawn care company?
For a route-based lawn care or treatment company that mostly needs scheduling, routing, invoicing and recurring billing at a low monthly price, GorillaDesk is good value, and the free office users are a real advantage over per-user tools. If your margin problem is in how jobs are priced rather than how they are scheduled, the plan tier won't fix it.
Many companies keep their field service tool for routes and billing and price bids in a dedicated estimator. LandscapeEstimating is priced per company, not per route: Crew is $129 a month with 2 estimator seats and 60 satellite measurements, Company is $299 with 6 seats, assemblies, options and a QuickBooks Online export. If you are weighing other field service tools as well, our Jobber pricing and QuoteIQ pricing breakdowns use the same format.
How much does GorillaDesk cost per month?
GorillaDesk costs $49 a month on Basic, $99 on Pro and $149 on Growth for the first schedule, plus $50 a month for each additional schedule. A company with three crews on Growth pays $249 a month before texting and phone add-ons.
Does GorillaDesk charge per user?
No. GorillaDesk charges per schedule, meaning each technician or crew leader who runs a route. Administrators, managers and sales staff are unlimited at no extra cost, and the mobile app is included on every plan.
Does GorillaDesk have a contract or setup fee?
GorillaDesk says it has no contracts and no setup fees, and it migrates your data for free. You can pay monthly and cancel, or pay for the year up front and get one month free.
Is GorillaDesk good for landscaping companies?
It fits lawn care and treatment companies that run recurring routes. For landscape install and enhancement work, it lacks a cost library with production rates and margin per line, so many landscapers price those bids in a dedicated estimator such as LandscapeEstimating.
Which GorillaDesk plan includes e-signatures and QuickBooks?
E-signatures and QuickBooks Online sync start on the Pro plan at $99 a month for the first schedule. The map estimation tool, estimate packages and sales pipelines need the Growth plan at $149.
